Choices and Points

Choice Points are all about making the decision to do things that are in line with your goals and ideals about how you could or should be living your life. It's kind of like talking the talk then starting to walk the walk: It's a process, and it can be fast and it can be slow.


If you decide that your goal is to stop smoking, then every time you say no to a cigarette, that is a choice that takes you closer to reaching your goal of being smoke free. Every time habit takes over and you have that cigarette then you move further away from that smoke free goal.


Where does that desire for change come from, that enables you to take that first step towards taking many more steps towards your goals and ideal way of living? Well, if you break it down into a bunch of little decisions that tip that pointer in the right direction more times than it points the other way, then all it takes is:


“...twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”
