This is Ktn, whose days as a kitten are long gone. He is about 17 years old now, gets a bit wobbly when walking after waking, and sometimes struggles to jump onto a chair or someone’s lap.
He has to endure daily face-lickings by an over exuberant dog and humans that only feed him twice day. Well, more like three or four times a day, possible five but never more than seven. But never often enough in Ktn’s opinion.
Cats, even old cats, give a lot to their humans, simply by just being around. As I’m typing this I can look down and see Ktn next to me, curled up on the carpet tucked away in the corner of the room, muttering in his sleep.
How much do you give to someone close to you, just by being around?
