Today, Tomorrow, or Next Whenever?

We seem to live in so many timezones these days. Like seeing status updates that shift around from today to last week in an instant, our mind is always jumping around from now...to then....to back then.....and back to now. It's such an odd choice to make, to constantly revolve around the idea of past, present and future, all jumbled together into a mixed up blend of "coulda, woulda, shoulda" for extra texture.
It's one thing to be aware of the past and the experience and wisdom it adds to our present, and another thing altogether to revisit moments and memories that dredge up pleasure, pain and mixed feelings in never ending replays that takes us out of the present and back to the past. The future can feel the same too, an endless mixture of things can may go well tomorrow or next week, or things that may go horribly wrong tonight or next month.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to plan a future where you do your best and whatever the outcome, the story is written once and once only and then becomes a moment in the past, to be referred to for information purposes only, not as a stick to beat yourself with.

Treat your life as a work in progress, full of moments that fade and become pieces of a much greater puzzle where everything rotates around the present and a thousand glorious futures await.
